How do I make N’oats?
Wella N’oats can be enjoyed hot or cold depending on your preference.
To enjoy hot add 1/3 cup (45 g) to a bowl or mug, mix in 1/3-1/2 cups hot liquid of choice. Stir it well until there are no dry spots. Let sit for 2-3 minutes to allow the flax and chia to soak up water.
For overnight N’oats add 1/3 cup (45 g) to bowl or jar, mix in 1/3-1/2 cups liquid of choice and stir well. No really, stir it like you mean it! Cover, refrigerate overnight, and pat yourself on the back – breakfast will be waiting for you! In the morning, stir N’oats again to distribute any excess liquid and enjoy.
But wait, there’s more! You can add a spoonful or two of N’oats to your smoothie for an extra boost, and we’ve even heard it’s delicious sprinkled over yogurt. Have a way to use N’oats we haven’t thought os? Share it with us at firstname.lastname@example.org or on social @wellafoods!
How should I store N’oats – pantry or fridge?
N’oats are certainly happy in your pantry – you can leave them in the bag they came in or transfer to an air tight jar or container.
Ideally though you should keep them in the fridge to protect the omega 3’s and prolong the fresh flavor.
The directions say add 1/3 – 1/2 cup liquid, how much is best?
The amount of milk or water you add will depend on personal preference! We recommend starting with 1/3 cup for a thick cereal and adding more if you like a thinner, porridge-like consistency.
What kind of milk should I use?
Dealer’s choice! We love N’oats with everything – water, traditional milk, coconut cream. You can even make it with coffee for a little extra boost!
How long will prepared N’oats last in the fridge?
We recommend eating N’oats within 2 days after preparation.
Is N’oats Organic? Gluten-Free? Vegan? Paleo? Kosher?
You bet! We use only the finest Organic and Kosher certified, Paleo-friendly whole foods, and grind them to the perfect consistency to create our N’oats cereal. No fillers, preservatives or mysterious “natural flavors” – just food made from food. N’oats are dairy and soy free, and we use lateral-flow assay testing to ensure they are gluten-free too!
Is N’oats a breakfast cereal?
N’oats are a great breakfast option – hearty, full of fiber and healthy fats, and ready in minutes. Or, even better, prepped the night before! But that doesn’t make them a breakfast only food – in fact those same nourishing, no-fuss properties make N’oats a perfect meal or snack for any time of day! Our founder even eats them for dessert – just add a little cocoa powder and maple
syrup for a sweet, satisfying treat.
Is there a difference between instant and overnight N’oats?
The instant preparation instructions make a warm cereal while maintaining a lot of the crunch of the chia seeds and almond chunks. Because you’re eating it within a few minutes of preparation, the flavors of the almonds, coconut, cinnamon and dates are more distinct. If you choose the overnight route, the chia, coconut and flax have more time to pull in water and plump up, but the almond pieces and chia still maintain a nice crunch. The flavors also have
more time to meld and you get a different taste experience – we recommend trying both to decide your favorite!
Will you be adding more flavors?
You bet we will! We are already hard at work in the kitchen mixing up new N’oats and we can’t wait to share them with you. Want the inside scoop? Sign up for our newsletter for early access to new flavors. Have a suggestion? We would love to hear it! Drop us your flavor recommendations at email@example.com or on social @wellafoods!
Can I make N’oats in the microwave?
Absolutely! Just mix the N’oats and your choice of liquid in a microwave-safe bowl or mug – stir well to avoid dry spots, and microwave for 30 seconds. Stir again and let sit for 2-3 minutes. Careful – the bowl and contents may be hot! Cook times will vary depending on your microwave.
— WELLA BARS —
Why do Wella Bars & Squares need to be refrigerated?
Wella Bars & Squares are made from fresh ground nut butters and minimally processed whole food ingredients, and contain no emulsifiers, preservatives, or fillers. The natural oils in the nuts and seeds will separate over time unless kept refrigerated. To maintain freshness, flavor, and prevent oil separation, we recommend keeping Wella Bars refrigerated until ready to consume.
How long are they good without refrigeration?
Wella Bars last 2-3 days without refrigeration, depending on the temperature. They do start to get soft, and the nut oils can separate if left out for a long time or exposed to higher heat. Just place them back in the fridge and they will firm up again in a couple hours! Insider tip: freeze them before heading out on the picnic to keep them firm and fresh longer.
Super Omega Squares are good out of refrigeration for 5 days at a time – making them a great on-the-go snack for road trips, picnics, and school lunches. Beware that the chocolate chips may get a little melted in the summer – but some of us prefer them that way!
Can Wella Bars & Squares be frozen?
Yes! They can be frozen for up to one year.
